Firstly, oh the feels. Secondly, how good do you have to be at writing sans to make a pun and not even realize it. When sans says they are dying to know that was a pun not only on the fact that frisk died for a few minutes but also...you know, skeleton puns.

I liked the chapter!

This was a marvelous chapter, but I must say I dearly hope we get a moment where Toriel and Asgore are talking about this with each other and considering how best to help Frisk. The fact that after so long this remains a major issue for her suggests to me more than anything else there is something very deep down, perhaps in fact tied to her missing past, that haunts her to this day.

I feel that in combination they might be able to do it, but perhaps bringing in either a human or monster counselor (perhaps Sans doing it?) could be a good idea.

Though this actually gives me a sudden interesting thought- what if it turns out that one of her friends has learned something of her past, and knows why this haunts her so, but hasn't shared it because it could shatter a great deal?

Something tells me that Frisk here has some kind of deep seated issue that likes to rear it's face for these sorts of things. There were moments in the final chapters where it still surprised me she had such worries about not being part of the family.

However, this can be a worry for any child in a family. Not all siblings get along after all. And the fact that she herself may soon be flying the nest for more school or even her work as Royal Ambassador means she won't have as much time to be with the would be child.

This of course is emotion talking and taking hold first and foremost. Unless Monster babies come out along the lines of being born at the level of say a three year old, it'd be a bit hard for the kid to 'hate' her early on or anything like that. And considering that Ebott now has a much more mixed population, especially the school, and with parents like Asgore and Toriel, not to mention Asriel, rationally she shouldn't be worried.

Of course, for all we know there's some evil twist waiting in the wings...

I wanted to say that this is absolutely one of the best fanfics I've ever read, and the feels are there. To quote the great Papyrus, I've caught something in my eyes... TEARS! I especially love how you dealt with Chara, as when I first started reading this and saw it was inspired by Dreemurr Reborn and saw Chara pop into the scene, I was worried it might wind up with Chara playing the brief role of villain. Was happily surprised by where you took it instead.

That was an unexpected but beautiful twist on things. Very nice. The only thing I dislike about this chapter is that Frisk and Chara can't remember their past. That just seems and feels incredible lazy to me to be honest. Probably the only actually bad thing you did until now in the whole story. At least for me.

Ahhhhhhhhh, stop making me cry. God damn Ninjas cutting onions. Argh.

So very interesting. Sans characterization in this is something special to be sure. Not because it's completely different to how other people portray him but because this is one of the rare circumstances where there are no alternative timelines in which frisk/chara fucked things up. There is only this Frisk here. A genuinly good Person. And Sans acts like it.
