I say you just keep going if that works with what you have planned.

If you feel that you improved as a writer and feel that you could write things ou better then go for the rewrite lord know I've done that for a few stories of mine

Please keep going. I don't mind the shift from good writing to great writing. I know some author don't feel right if they don't rewrite the story so do whatever you feel is is a great fic!

I’ve tried rewriting a story, and honestly... I learned that there won’t be all that much of a difference between the rewrite and the original... I would vote for just pushing on with what you already have... it a good story already and I personally believe that a few changes in grammar won’t change this story from something bad to good... it’s already good, in fact the story itself is great! I’m curious as to what else you would cook up for this story instead of bashing out what you’ve already written (which is a good way to hit burn out as well)

I'll be okay with a rewrite

I am absolutely okay with a re-write. Would you be okay with keeping the old version up as well though? I love being able to see how authors have improved over time.
