First, extraordinary job. We all know you channel Damon. It how well you did with Elena Is astounding. Totally in character, she pushed her pain and hurt back so she could help her Soulmate get himself back together.
The questions she asked! I had almost forgotten how strong she is. She sacrificed her own hurt and reaction to help Damon and heal his wounded soul. I almost can't believe she didn't break down.
They know each other so well. A few words from him and she knew just what he had done. She knew he was trying to destroy himself! And being his rock, his comfort, the only unconditional love of and in his life, she helps him forgive himself.
They are each other's life, home, the anchor that keeps them going. Elena had another Epic Speech here. It was so nice to here them talk to one another again. I love it. This was a major tear jerker, I had to wait 2 days to write this review! And I'm sure I didn't do it justice. Thank You. I love the way you make me hate you sometimes! Keep writing. You really should be on staff writing for the show! If you were, the ratings would skyrocket! Kudos

Elena is made of stronger stuff than I am. If only to placate my DE heart, I'm glad she went the extra mile for him. Thanks for updating.

Again there's no way I would've so easily forgiven him but I'm not Elena. Beautifully written. Tears for the vows.

So I really wanted to read the much hyped Elena speech, and I must say I'm not a bit disappointed considering the fact that you had to live up to the epicness of Delena speeches.
And then the vows! I literally have no words to explain how amazing that part was, so amazing that now I'm craving to see it in canon. Kudos to you Luke yet again

Stefan, Bonnie, that's not what says a person who has your best interest in mind... Even if I gave them the benefit of doubt and admitted they did want to help him, then they're the most ignorant and insensitive 'close ones', let alone the fact that they don't know him at all. I really don't want them to tell him 'I told you so' (that it's gonna be okay) when he and Elena get through this painful way of dealing with the consequences.

Amazigly written. While I know Elena's the most forgiving person, I wouldn't expect that you make me agree with her reasoning. But you didn't make it easy for them to get there and by the time you brought up Elena's erasing memories of Damon, I was buying it. (Of course I teared up with their vows!) Also, they are going in circles, most of the chapter, yet you found a new way how to say it, how to take it from a new angle everytime so it never feels like repeating.
