Another chapter! :D I just love Jacob and Dembe together. :) Jacob's satisfaction with irritating Dembe cracked me up (I'm the same with my sisters) and the relationships they have with Isabella are so sweet, even if Jacob worrying that Dembe will leave him makes me want to give him a hug. Trust me, Jacob, your brother will never do that to you, he's far too wonderful for that kind of behavior.

Two chapters in two days? What have we done to deserve this absolute gift? XD

I loved this one... the tidbits about Jacob's past in foster care, the way he and Dembe interact... and he calls her his niece. I really do love that!

You have no idea how excited I was when I saw this come through my alerts when I woke up this morning! I love this story so much, but I could have understood if you’d never picked it back up after S5. You did though, and I’m hoping the muse sticks with you.
I love how Jacob’s reward for himself was dinner with Liz. He’s so smitten and he doesn’t even know it yet.
I am curious though... who ran Nik down and what favour is Jacob going to ask from Dembe?
