I love the Azula and Ursa moments. Mom and daughter relationship are hard but it’s still always the person you run to, when things especially emotions are all over the place to just be a girl.

I have some hope that at least this time, Ozai won’t have complete power over Azula since Ursa is still around to be the loving, supportive mother she needs. In the series, Ozai had so much abusive power over her, the eventual breakdown was heartbreaking to watch.

I really like the Azula and Ursa dynamic, it’s refreshing to see a nice interaction with them.

Yeah, new update! Also, I never realized how little Ursa and Azula actually interact. This chapter was really sweet. And I wonder what Ozai is actually sick with? If the Dai Li injected him with that stuff as an experiment, but they left him to die too? Whatever it is, maybe this will be a humbling experience for him. Or not, lol.

GHope we get an Azula x Ursa moment. It seems like Azula may have Ozai tendencies but she’ll definitely protect her mom and brother before him. Loveee. Can’t wait for the next chapter! Update soon

I love everything about the way you write. You're talented at capturing the thoughts and feelings of Ozai without making him seem out of character. I can't help but compare this version of him to his counterpart in your other fic, where he clearly took a bad turn and Ursa's influence never affected him. They are so different, and yet they still possess raw ambition and arrogance.

Looking forward to seeing more!
