This was absolutely amazing, keep up the great work!

Please continue! With Ruby's and Weiss' success in fixing, and even improving, Penny I think it would be interesting to see the reactions and ramifications behind what happened in this story. I could certainly see groups like the Atlas military and the SDC becoming interested in Ruby's talents for machinery including recruitment attempts as well as other groups learning of what she can do and trying to get her to become a weapons/robotics designer and builder.

I can just see the many possible directions that this story can take from here. To summarize, I feel that these two parts are a very good beginning!

I like the story so far. My one complaint though, is throughout this chapter, Penny was treated more like an object then a girl...

I liked the story for the most part. You definitely did well with the darker aspects and the heavier emotions, though it felt a little rushed in some places. The sudden shift to Blake's perspective at the end felt a little odd, too. Seemed like Ruby and Penny's last scene should have had a little more resolution, instead of the POV swap. Just felt like it ended in the middle of the scene. Still, I enjoyed it, and it was definitely better than a significant number of other authors' first stories. I feel like you have the potential to become pretty great with just a little bit of effort.

The ending was cheesy, but a good cheesy. This was good.

Poor Weiss, though. As a WhiteRose shipper first and a Nuts-And-Dolts shipper second, I couldn't help but interpret her sad smile after advising Ruby to be from having realized Ruby had chosen someone else.

Write more. That was good.

Ooh, this is an interesting development... and the Tournament's outcome makes this even more painful.

Ummm... How would they "pork" each other? That would mean that Penny was made with ...those parts.

Certainly this was... good, like you said, a bit cheesy. Certainly I don't mind the cheesy moments after being subdued to harshness. I expect a little more drama in the next chapter.

As you said, it would be great if the story ends there, I personally would like to see a bit more, Is Penny still Penny? Will she remember Ruby? However you want to.

I like how the story is shaping up so far. please keep it up it's hard to find stories with this pairing that are more then just one shots.

You're right, it wouldn't be terrible to end it here, but there are still some unanswered questions. Like, okay, they made her work again, apparently, but is she, you know... still Penny? Her primary functions are fine, but is her personality one of them? And even if so, what about everything she's learned? That's not a primary function, that's just data. She may not remember everything (or everyone) she knew before the lightning. And even if all that is fine, does her body still work as well as it did before? Was she fixed perfectly in one shot, with no crossed wires or misplaced gears? After all, Ruby DID severely exhaust herself making the repairs. It's not implausible that in her exhaustion, she could have made some small mistake that gives Penny a new quirk.

tl;dr: Yes please write the other chapters.
