Hi! I LOVED your twist of the classic! I just wished it was multi chapter and longer! It was an awesome idea, really. If Mr. Bennet indeed married young, he could be mid to late forties, still strong and inform to take a very young wife and had a new brood of children. Please, if you decide to write again or make this a multi chapter story, please let me know!

I enjoyed your fun "what-if" and can quite see how it is in keeping with Charlotte's character to arrange to match herself to Mr. Bennet and he might well be willing to marry her and that such a marriage while not being one of great passion would work well.

While shock and amazement were definitely my initial reactions too, the beauty of the story took me entirely by surprise in the best possible way! Very interesting idea here!

I really loved this. All ended well for the book Bennets, but only through extreme luck. Stories that eliminate Mrs. Benet and Lydia usually ring more realistic because those two were just a turn off for any sensible man wishing to marry into that family.
