I am so looking forward to the reunion of Bato and Zuko. Most stories of Zuko, Avatar or not, being raised in the Southern Tribe have him living with Hakoda. This is a nice change and I like seeing papa Bato!

Why does KATARA have more of a connection with Zuko's animal guide than Zuko does?

I love the meeting of Sokka and Basto, so unexpected lmao. Who would say that other than tracking food, he would track down his father's friend. Aang is very talkative when he shouldn't, now everyone in the restaurant knows that he is the great-grandson of the previous Avatar and possibly know that the current Avatar exists, that was a bad move from him lmao, but we still love him :). I love the conversation of Sokka and Bato, he looks very proud of Zuko, and although Zuko is not his legitimate son he loves him as such. Unexpected to know that Aya is Zhao's wife, now I hate him more. I hope she can get rid of him in the near future for her sake. I like that Iroh tries to protect her. I already want to know how Iroh will react when he sees Zuko in the Northern Water Tribe. I wish you luck in the next chapter, kisses and hugs :).

PS: Two silly questions from my part lmao xP. Does Aang have hair? and ¿Zuko has a scar? I don't remember that lmao. So much love.

For a moment I thought the same as Zuko and I thought that Katara couldn't have been saved, I see that he cares a lot for her. Zuko is right to say that to Smellerbee, although she apologizes and says she didn't want this to happen, she didn't do anything to prevent it, nobody did it and they agreed with Jet's plan. I'm glad that the dragon (Druk?) save Katara, yay! It seems that he is grateful that she and Zuko saved him from the hunters, and he may feel a connection with Zuko. I love this AU fic so much, it's great to see Zuko being raised in the southern water tribe, and Bato being his surrogate father, and I like Kanta too, she's a great mother. I love Zuko's relationship with Sokka and Katara, and now watching Zuko get a little jealous when Katara blushes for Gyatso and Jet, so cute. Zhao is truly an idiot in this fic, I hate what he does to Aya. I hope that Katara comes out safe and sound and that Zuko arrives on time. I wish you luck in the next chapter, kisses and hugs :).

PS: I feel silly for not reading this great fic before lmao. I love fics where Zuko is raised in the water tribe, and fics where he's the Avatar, and this fic is a great combination of both yay! I feel that the dragon that Zuko and Katara saw is Druk (?), And maybe it's Zuko's animal spirit, I think. So much love!

Sounds like you're busy but I really hope you continue this story. I've always found the idea of Zuko having a different childhood intriguing and like how you hadle it. The only criticism I have is that I don't find myself invested in the Fire Nation characters, but I'm not sure quite why (sorry, not real helpful). I'll be sure to try and read any future updates
