Good story so far. Re your note, I have always imagined Tony as Roman Catholic, bearing in mind his Italian American heritage, and it is likely that his mother was also. Whilst I don't see Tony as particularly religious, neither do I think he is an atheist - unlike Tim, who I believe is. I can see Tony gaining comfort from church - either a simple prayer or chatting informally with a priest.

It is more than likely that Senior attended church as a child, but that it was out of duty and enforced by his parents. I doubt whether religion ever meant anything to him. I really can't see Senior as having any beliefs, other than in get rich schemes.

Ah, that was a crazy, emotionally intense, riveting ride. Your stories are incredibly detailed and I love the way you have woven in actual storylines with this AU and made them your own. Off to find out what happened to Ziva now.
sunshine.katz chapter 8 . 1/4/2019
Oh MAN. I'm glad I read your HNTWTHG first. That ending almost makes up for this chapter. Thoroughly enjoying this supernatural tale btw - I've seen quite a few NCIS seasons (up until Ziva left), so it's been very interesting seeing where this goes.

Interseting
Runewulf chapter 11 . 7/15/2018
To me, Tony was a laid back believer - met them by the dozen growing up in Liverpool, England. My Dad's family were a mix of Irish and English Roman Catholics.
My Mother's father, who died in WW1, was a son of East European Jews. My maternal grandmother partly Italian, mostly English Protestant. My mother was baptised in a local Methodist church when she was 7. Me? Well, I went to a Church of England school, took communion at 17, argued with God all my life but I do believe - would have trouble explaining and I rarely do. The God part of Tony I had no trouble with. This was an interesting chapter. Miss Kate, though.

thanks for writing and posting for writing and posting. that was a very good and interesting story. I specially liked the sense of family.

This is one of the best AU stories I have read for a loooong time, in any fandom. You've obviously worked hard to show every character to their best, the backstories work a treat (I love how you've shown the adults for all of the ghosts with the flickers of the children they were when they died seamlessly woven in) and the characterization and dialogue jump off the page.
Runewulf chapter 6 . 9/7/2017
I am enjoying this, although imagining Gibbs as a sort of Pied Piper for ghostly children is wonderfully weird.
I like the characterisations but if they stay as their childhood selves can Tim ever stop being afraid of failure and rejection and Tony being afraid of abandonment? I expect you're planning to sort stuff out. :)
I will return.
Runewulf chapter 5 . 9/7/2017
i don't really want the boring logistics, but an annoying imp inside my head keeps wondering how he'd conjure logical dates of birth and other biographical info for his agents. Glad to see Tim there - is his monstrous father going to cause trouble?
Runewulf chapter 1 . 9/6/2017
Wonderfully weird.
SapphireBlue82 chapter 1 . 9/3/2017
You hurt me, but you hurt me so good. This fic is going to be one that I always recommend to people, no matter the fandom. It has made such an impact on me, and I hope to share it with as many people as possible. Keep doing what you do.
