I just binged read this whole story and I am here for all of it! I normally hate Elena centric fics but this is amazing. The writing is so good. I love the slow burn aspect of it as it just helps make it so much more realistic. And I am shipping everyone! Rebekah and Elena are great together, might be shipping them more than klaus and Elena atm. And I love how she still has a connection with Stefan. Seriously though i'm just hoping they all say fuck it and the four of them get together! Poor Tyler though, hope she gets too see him again for closure at least.

I really like elena's mind. Like it's very sad and bittersweet but still poetic. She really is a helen of troy but we get to see her head space and her growth ( shes already strong but shes strong in a human way which I love!)
Idk if elena/Bex gonna last, I love them and their a sweet sunrise in this dreary world but I also think its needed for this to happen I think elena needs to become a bit more human again and I think this healthy.

That being said how is this gonna end all three of them just living in apartment with elena as an author and klaus painting in a few gallerys and Rebekah as a socialite lol? Maybe klena cab have a kid and they get a few years of blissful human life before elena dies

I'm so all for Rebekah and elena lol somehow the most "normal: ship lol! Hell I'm even interested in Stelena with the whole stefan not knowing anything but still being attracted and fascinated by elena not as a ship but their interactions are fascinating. As for klena ugh I want them together ovbi lol its klena ship fic but idk lol I'm curious about how klaus is gonna take this development. Is this gonna be a polygamy three way situation with a dabble of strange incest Game of thrones style lol I'm kinda down lol it's a win win situation

Klaus gets the two things he craves for most in the world his family ( fave sis) and doppelganger ( lovely elusive elena)lol.
Rebekah too she gets the light/humanity ( elena) and the darkness/immortality( klaus)
Elena idk lol my sweet girl gets her epic consuming passionate love ( klaus) and a more healthier sweeter companionship love ( Rebekah)
P.s sorry for the rant and I dont give two shits about Tyler. Dont wanna see him again wouldn't be surprised if klaus killed him I'm kinda hoping for it. His character just bores me

My guess is Elena lost her friendships because the Mikaelsons made her an addict of their relationships (thinking somewhat incestuous i.e. Klaus and Rebekah in between the lines) and she’s no longer able to discern between reality and fiction in their world. But that’s expected of vampires that have lived forever. She would be better off figuring out how the compelled and the sex she’s had with them get her to find her way back to humanity and going back to her real-life friends who can figure out how to take her apart but knowing it would be tough since she’s very changed from the beginning. At this point in the story I think it’s safe to say whatever make or desire they have towards Elena is not sustainable for living, and Klaus seems to have only user-gift impressions towards her. Maybe she would be better off returning to Mystic Falls without the rich lifestyle they gave her and have her gain her own by picking up the inherited and the gifted from real friends and / or pursuits from family and other loves. That being said I do like your style and will continue reading as the story goes along. Cool update :)

The first thing I did when I woke up was "I hope there's an FE update" and look at that. Should've asked for money.

I feel like everything is coming to terms for Elena, that she's finally in a good place again. I really want 2 things to happen: 1. I want Klena!, 2. I want her to have a long heart-to-heart with Tyler about them and their daughter. I'm certain that's going to make me cry.

im honestly all for elena and rebekka but i just can't get over elena's and klaus's connection like no matter what he always comes back to her even with the 3 year gap in between he was obviously trying his hardest not to but still she remains a constant and im not sure if somehow the blood bond between them is in effect because obviously elena can still feel it and possibly he can too wich is why he stayed away from the states the whole time i loved this chapter i love the complete and utter desire that all three dangerous vampires are in a way all obsessed with this one human girl well not entirely human but for the most part in their minds she is you've mentioned it a couple times threw out the story but im curious how far klaus is willing to go to make rebekka happy and vice versa just because im not to sure rebekka actually knows what it's like to be with only one person and if they wer all sharing before i wonder how this will play out but def love the way your heading but still like i said hoping klaus gets a happy ending mainly because i always hated how he never could get one on the show

Honestly screw Klaus, I'm all aboard the Elena/Rebekah train! Lol but seriously, I could see the tension building and I just wanted them to get over themselves in kiss. Even though I know Elena and Rebekah's romantic relationship might end up like a train wreck I still want to treasure all their moments. I feel like they have so much chemistry (in the show and this fanfic) and you write the dynamic so well! If they do split, I still want them to remain friends at least bc they've changed each other in big ways.
tl;dr: they might be doomed but I'm going down with Elena/Rebekah

Loved this chapter! It shows how much spending all those years on her own is still effecting her. Also loved that bit with her and Stefan. He was kinda the perfect element to pull her out of her funk. Can't wait for the next chapter!
