I sincerely hope this story will be finished some day... maybe you're just figuring out how to incorporate Volume 4? With all of the new information, would we even see Salem in this story or a sequel? Team RWBY would be utterly screwed if they had to contend with Salem's direct minions because they've been drawing too much attention to themselves. Some people have complained Yang was overly-effective in comparison to teammates, although I disagree somewhat; I think Weiss and Ruby were significantly less effective compared to Yang, even before they started supporting their resident Brawler to give her the advantage. On the whole, I loved this chapter and can't wait to see what happens next.

ouch, I feel sorry for team CVFY, they probably have a healthy respect for team RWBY now, and also maybe a small bit of fear,meh, anyhow good chapter I think although I do have a question for the overall story, this whole thing started cause Ruby sent them back in time somehow, so are we going to see her semblance start changing or evolving slightlynot necessarily like in volume 4) or was that just a one and done thing? I personally don't care care either way I just felt that was a slight potential plot loop I was curious about, anyhow yeah, still enjoying this so far, hope to see more

Ruby and Blake were really lucky that the Huntsman got killed by Adam, since Crescent Rose is an extremely recognizable weapon. Now their break-in can be blamed on the White Fang.

You do realize that combat class was like 5 minutes long, right? You should have written a few sentences of filler.

I REALLY don't think you understand how many THOUSANDS of Grimm would be! For context, the griffons surrounding the Colosseum probably numbered about 50ish, Ruby definitely fought less than that in the Season 4 trailer, the Grimmwe saw entering the breach after Mountain Glenn probably numbered less than 100, and I'd be shocked if more than a couple hundred Grimm showed up onscreen during the entire invasion of Vale in Season 3.
That said, the rest of this was pretty believable, so I'm just going to pretend you said some smaller, more reasonable (but still large) number.
