Please continue this story. You have done great so far and I believe it has some amazing potential to become something amazing.

And here Ozpin easily manipulates her to do as he pleases. She is very unstable mentally, emotionally and seems to be quite unintelligent. I'll see myself out, sorry but if it had her be the war leader she was in start of the very first chapter it would be different.

However now? It appears to just be a way to throw emotional upheavals all over the place while having said war leader act like a cadet who never teamed up for anyone for anything.

Yeah, sure you betcha.

So she does one thing, has a PTSD flashback which is understandable, but really this story.. It feels like it is nothing but her pain so far. And she has yet to think of her friends!

Also she never asks how Ozpin knew the feel of magic or any of that. It kind of feels a bit empty. A who knows how old leader of a world shattering world against a monster of the highest caliber and she is just kind of.. There. And depressed but that is it.

One thing leaps out, she doesn't, not once, consider what happened to her allies. She never thinks of how her friends went through the same thing but might not have survived as she did. She also doesn't think on how they might not be on the same world/universe.

Honestly? That part removes a good deal of sympathy that might be had in the later part when she talks about coming from another world.

I love this story! I hope to read more soon!

I honestly think this was a needed chapter by writing this it explains how she got the weapon and its history.

So, point is that Hailey has a seriously bad-ass weapon.

Wait! If her old world no longer exists then wouldn't the 20% of her soul placed there in Horcruxes be free from their vessels and is on their way to reunite with her body? It is implied that Horcruxes require magical energy that is found in the Earth to keep the enchantments keeping the soul fragment trapped powered. thus even if the Horcruxes were to survive the destruction of the world then the lack of magic would only keep the soul fragments trapped until the energy in them runs out which would probably take a couple of years if nothing is attacking them. Considering how there is a time difference between worlds then the 20% is probably in-between worlds as the events of this chapter occur.
