That’s not how knocking someone out works. You can’t put someone into a deep coma by throwing a rock at them. If you’re knocked unconscious, you wake up in under 3 minutes or you’re going to a hospital. It’s not like movies where they have half an hour of driving their hostage to an abandoned house in the middle of the desert where the protagonist wakes up 2/3 of the way in before escaping their bonds, overpowering the driver, and escaping into the sequel. Knocking someone out is a precise science with a balance and proper placement. Otherwise you get either an angry opponent or z as corpse.
