This story has been stuck in my brain since the first time I read it a couple weeks ago, and I still have no idea what I can say about it that will do any justice at all to how wonderful it is. I just love it, the realism, Jay's emotions- so intense. I feel for him, I really do. I want so badly for it to work out to a happy ending for him, but at the same time I'm glad that it didn't, because- hell, that's life. The bittersweet ending just makes the fic that much more powerful.

i loved the simpleness of this; just the basic statements, and the reuse of the "my boyfriend" phrase; very clever, and perfect to distinguish it from the rest.

Oh man. It's stories like these that make you realise that there is hope for beyond Jeff Hardy Mary Sue fics.

That was just amazing. It was angsty and beautiful, and the repetition of the words 'my boyfriend' was both funny and helped drive home Jay's state of mind. I'm not generally a slash reader, but that was wonderful. Thank you.

Oh, my God. I don't know if there's ever been a fic this short(ish, or rather, not novel-length) that I've all-over enjoyed this much. All-over enjoyed meaning I laughed, I swooned and pouted, and there was the tear-factor there. This is angsty, but it's also humorous (maybe it's just me finding humor in everything from Jeff Jarrett to the teary scene in A.I.) and cute and dramatic and SO going on my favorites list.

Stories like this aren't the reason you're a good writer. Stories like this are the reason you're a GREAT writer. Great being an understatement, of course. Keep rockin'. )

Upon the recommendation of Lady Charlotte I read this story. I must say I found excellent. I would love to see how things work out for Jay. What will happen if and when Adam finds out.

Still as wonderful as the first time I read it, if not more so. Not saying I'm happy about things not working out for the best for him, but eh. Can't have it all. Life's generally not a happy ending. Feh. Anyway, lovely job, and I promise I haven't forgotten about Shadows. I'll update it eventually. Sometime. :)
