Dude, I wanted to cry reading this. Seeing both of the boys so vulnerable, both wanting to be together but also wanting different things out of life... a great emotional study indeed.

Simply beautiful. Once again, that strong bond between the boys - and between siblings in general (those who are close, at least) - is illustrated wonderfully.

If only the brothers got a reprieve (at least) at the end. Too much to hope for I guess, the way the show is headed.

Love reading Dean interacting with younger generation and kids. This was a good one. Especially liked Dean mentioning Emma. He must mourn her like he mourns the loss of Ben.

Dean using physical violence to help with emotional trauma is so in character it's hilarious. And it worked! Because he's methods are odd but they are done with love.
I also like that Sam flipped him off, because I think he would do that a LOT more if the show rating wasn't an issue lol

I definitely didn't expect this from the chapter but I loved it all the same! Dean's a great mentor, and I love that you took a moment to explore what really hasn't been seen with him and Alex. Using physicality as a form of therapy is definitely something he knows how to work with, and showing Alex to help her was a great idea.

That was wonderful. Although I will always miss (even if I'm often late) having a chapter to read, I would say the time away was well worth the creative rest for your craft. You came back swinging! This was so good, thanks.
