Kai chapter 8 . 6/1 *rofl* Hermione is the best! The way she said that was obviously good enough that the others could believe it. Hermione needed a quick shag with two teenage boys and a dog. Hilarious! |
Kai chapter 7 . 6/1 Harry should show Sirius some war movies. Like "Full Metal Jacket". Or "Stalingrad" came out in 1993. Perhaps some documentary about the Second World War, including Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But stress that what they see has been fifty years ago, and muggles just have gotten better at killing since then. Too bad that "Black Hawk Down" came out later, where a few special forces troops killed hundreds of people who had very little technology, which would be (a little bit) like muggles vs. magicals. Or "Saving Private Ryan", which shows the effects of automatic weapons on a group of stationary people. The soldiers in the landing craft couldn't get out fast enough, but magicals would voluntarily just stand there, shield, and cast. Are there good movies about the trench warfare, and gas attacks, and artillery-dominated massacres, and the first tanks, and the first air attacks during the First World War? Otherwise it'd be documentaries again for that. |
Kai chapter 6 . 6/1 What? Seventeen years olds have sex ed with Pomfrey? Isn't that a LITTLE late? I found out that a light approach is a good idea, especially if the kid asks something, before they're ten, and a bit more information orientated no later than twelve. Especially STDs, sexual predation and how to avoid it, and contraceptives should be on the agenda then. Oh. If I had just read two more paragraphs I would've found out both that Harry thinks the same and that it WOULD have been to late for Sirius. Harry had his soul almost sucked out twice AFTER HE ARRIVED at Hogwarts. There was the first attack on the train even before they were in Hogsmeade. The question here is, however, if the school staff is responsible for the train as well (HAH! As if! None of them ARE responsible. The question is: Can they be held liable regardless?). |
Kai chapter 4 . 6/1 Why would Dumbledore need favours to get Sirius a trial? Okay, both the role of the Wizengamot and the role of the Chief Warlock are very poorly or even not at all defined, but still, he is the presiding official of that body. He should be able to just put a trial on the agenda. And denying a dementor access to the Chambers should be within his abilities as well. And Dumbledore can ALWAYS find Harry. If even RONALD, who I think of very poorly, was able to figure out the function of the deluminator then the person who enchanted the thing in the first place should know how to use it as well. |
Kai chapter 2 . 6/1 *lol* Harry found a dairy in his vault? Moo! I'm sure you meant a diary... And Dumbledore can easily change Harry's mind. At first he would try to convince him to follow the Great Grand Supreme God-Emperor of the Universe with one little word: "Imperio!" That doesn't work, so he takes away Harry's memory of the attempt (if even LOCKHART can do that...) and gets his loyal poisoner to brew something that makes an absolutely obedient slave out of his Boy-who-lived. Love potions seem to work, other methods of potion induced behaviour modification are surely possible as well. |
StereoCorrupt chapter 1 . 4/10 THE DURSLEYS GOT A QUARTER OF A MILLION POUNDS FROM HARRY?! Dude almost 250,000 pounds sterling was taken from Harry for all of the 13 years he’d “lived” there I want revenge on his behalf |
HarryPotterFangirl85 chapter 11 . 12/10/2019 I’m pretty sure I’ve read this one before, but I do r remember at this point if I’d previously reviewed. Interesting story, though. |
Matt chapter 3 . 11/1/2019 Harry should have been asking why Dumbledore had anything to do with where he lived. Does Dumbledore place all orphaned children in the wizarding world with new guardians? Does the Ministry of Magic not have a Department for Children? Why would a man who already has three jobs be in charge of orphans as well? The whole thing is ridiculous. |
Matt chapter 2 . 11/1/2019 "the charm was placed on the batteries which meant they didn't need to use electricity or be charged" What? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The only purpose of batteries is to provide electricity. If they don't use electricity, why are they even there? For them not to run out of electricity, great. But not to use electricity at all, that doesn't work. You didn't think it through before you wrote that sentence. |
amg.supernatural chapter 11 . 8/2/2019 Awesome read! |
mysinger chapter 11 . 7/29/2019 Great story! I love how Harry being able to see through polyjuice potion changed so much. Lily's invention allowing muggle devices to work around magic, would continue the changes. I was sorry to see this story end. Well done! |
OnceInMyDreams chapter 11 . 7/11/2019 Excellent story! It's a great read. Thanks! |
Brockster550 chapter 11 . 3/8/2019 Draco's days of antagonizing Harry are over! Nice story! |
Brockster550 chapter 10 . 3/8/2019 Yeah, combining the magical and muggle world will definitely make everyone happy. It allows everyone to explore other possibilities and see which one they like best. |
Brockster550 chapter 9 . 3/8/2019 Word on Harry's ideas on bringing the magical world up to the 20th century is spreading. Pure-bloods like Malfoy and his kind won't take any of that too well, but it would be their loss. |
