ANYWAY. I was super excited to see that this is a Kain/Barbariccia pairing as well as Helga/Salazar.

Love the line about Godric trying to kill Salazar's pets. XD

lol at Kain having extra 'wind effects' around him and Salazar noticing that Kain's cloak was moving more than it should have...

So the flower they were looking for wasn't even anything magical, just an endangered species that Helga was looking to preserve. :o

This is wonderful. This is why I love your FF/HP crossovers, because not only do you make the two fandoms blend seamlessly together, you merge them in a way that expands the universe in each fandom.

I find the idea of wizards capturing and enslaving the four elemental archfiends a fascinating, yet also tragic and realistic, idea. It doesn't surprise me that wizards would think themselves superior enough to want to enslave such people, much in the same way that they enslave house elves and force them to do their bidding.

And here we have the origin of Fiendfyre. This is what I was talking about when I said your stories expand the universe of each fandom. And now Kain has to protect his beloved from being captured. When will wizards ever learn to treat everyone as equals? Probably not any time soon, seeing as how this is set during the Founders Era. To think, wizards were lusting for power even then. In fact that's probably how it all began when they discovered the elemental archfiends.

I like reading about the founders of Hogwarts and this was an interesting spin on it. I laughed at the thought of Godric trying to kill Helga's pet before Salazar intervened. I liked theie interaction with Kain and how Salazar is pretty aggressive while Helga keeps calm. It's interesting how Rubicante is fiendfyre and Barbarricia is worried they will make a wind fiend by using her powers.
