Rewrite the ending. Did you rush through it? your writing is normally complex and though provoking and yet this ending just seems rushed and very fairytale. Claire wouldn't just give up on Jamie and have no conflicted feelings. Among other problems.

While reading this story, I suspend slot of my disbelief for the OOC portrayals as I suppose it's a necessary condition to reading it. However, I truly object to this part as Claire has NO reason to feel ashamed. And if she has Stockholm syndrome and amnesia about Jack's many crimes including torture, murder, and RAPE OF A CHILD, then she needs to recognize that. There's a reason that some crimes have a statute of limitations (like burglary) and other crimes (like rape, murder, and kidnapping) don't have a statute of limitations. The "good" does not cancel out the bad no matter how much time has passed.

In your story, I have seen Jack show some reform, but no remorse and no retribution and therefore it's difficult to see this as a "redemption" story if all the characters around him are the only ones to feel shame.

I've stopped and started reading this a few times. Initially, I just couldn't get past the major OOC premise and Jamie's shocking proposal to Jack and what he allowed Jack to do. In fact, I almost wrote a review which was basically like ten no's. Now I'm sure glad I didn't.

Today, I tried it again, decided to just roll with the premise and see where it led. And I'm sure glad I did. Engaging and well-written and currently at a very interesting and dramatic scenario. It's ironic that a few weeks ago, I swore I'd never be back and now I can't wait for your next update. Great work!

Only thing, with the content in a few scenes, this might be better with an M rating.
