I really liked this fic. I'll be happy to read more if you write another part.
While reading it, I'd wondered what would happen if the test came back negative. Snape had started to think of the opposite possibility so much, and Harry was already seeming so sure. Never a good idea to talk yourself into believing one possibility over the other like that (especially when it's a bit of a long-shot). But it looks like things ended well. ...and, when Snape thought about the potion results, I kind of wondered if there could've been anything that was overlooked in some way, some reason for it to be wrong. Snape bottling the rest of it provides an opportunity to find out for sure who Harry's parents are later - though, I doubt Lily would've... had that many partners... and, as for Snape, he'd said/thought that any potion-making errors wouldn't cause such a result for them. And if Voldemort's magic had done anything weird with Harry's blood, then it probably would've done something similar to Snape's, too. Same if the knife wasn't sterile or something. It'd be more likely to have a false positive than a false negative.

Excellent! I had gotten into a certain mindset with Severitus fics such that this ending was a complete surprise to me. But it is totally true to the feel of the HP world, and the power of "family of choice." How refreshing!

This is interesting- I was surprised the potion was negative. But a lot of Snape's perceptions of Harry have changed since he's now looking past the mini James Potter he was projecting onto Harry. It would be interesting to see how that would change things.

When is the next instalment coming out? I hope you havent given up on this awesome story!

That was really good. I loved the way you slowly built their relationship and then had a black potion at the end. Surprise! It was good, though.

After reading Morphed Secrets, which was bloody brilliant by the way (seriously I could not stop reading it) I checked out your profile and found this gem. IT MADE ME CRY. From devouring a fic where they could be a loving family to Harry truly believing he would finally have a father and then being crushed, my poor heart. You left it on a positive note but I still want to weep for my poor fictional children. Sorry for the atrocious grammar; I’ve been suffering from a migraine all day and I’m struggling to be cohesive. I’m pretty much just replying to let you know I’ve really enjoyed your work and have started following you!

In my heart of hearts I knew the results would be negative, but I so wanted it to be red too! Great story, the pacing of their (what should I call it?) friendship? was very good. It didn’t feel rushed or unrealistic.

Yes, this is a good story worth continuing. Again, good Albus is not possible in any Potterverse.
