SlinkyHarryPotter chapter 3 . 7/13 Good. But... With child abusers for the past TWELVE years? I thought that it was 14? |
LadyWillowElf chapter 27 . 7/13 More please! |
rowenasheir chapter 27 . 7/12 Please continue writing. |
excessivelyperky chapter 26 . 6/8 Oh, dear, I hope Hermione didn't put a jinx on that sign up sheet. Remember, all it takes is Umbridge sending for Veritaserum from the Ministry, and half the DA-including Hermione herself-could be permanently scarred. |
excessivelyperky chapter 25 . 6/4 It would be a great idea if Harry brought Ron and Hermione to visit a few Slytherins like Jane in the library-it would make them feel more special and not as left out, but Harry probably isn't going to do that. I am surprised that Jane is usually Snape's first name so casually, mind you. I hope Jane isn't attacked too cruelly at the first few DA meetings. Harry could tell the rest that the Slytherins really, really do believe Voldemort is back and these Slytherins don't like it. But it sounds like the Trio is still sound there by the end. |
excessivelyperky chapter 24 . 5/30 Hermione wants to run the defense league through Harry, and he's not having it. She'll try another way later, hope he spots the jinx on the sign-up sheet. Besides, Harry could always joke that any Slytherin they get on their side is a spit in the eye of old Voldie. |
Lunader chapter 1 . 5/27 Are you going to continue this or is this abandoned? I love this story and would love to see what your plans are but it’s been a long time since you uploaded. |
excessivelyperky chapter 23 . 5/26 I think Hermione realizes that she's losing Harry by her jealousy over grades, and she also knows that Harry is the best *practical* person she knows. I do like it that neither she or Ron is going spare when they hear they might have help from Snape, though. Let's see how nuts they go when Harry invites the first Slytherin... He really should have told them about his evening in the Slytherin common room, though. Truth for truth. He has trusted them with his life before, and vice versa, he needs to suck it up. |
excessivelyperky chapter 22 . 5/18 I thought Percy Weasley was Head Boy in Harry's fifth year, and that no Slytherins were allowed to be Head Boy or Head Girl while Dumbledore was Headmaster. But, oh well, this is AU. I do like this chapter, though, especially with the look at how the Slytherin common room is really run and how Draco Malfoy is Not All That to most of the other Slytherins. Harry does really, really well, and I love how Snape plants the seed for the DA. Oh, and I really hope Trelawney's prediction comes true. If I had been there in the class, I would confer with my fellows and try to make it come true. |
excessivelyperky chapter 21 . 4/20 I'm glad that Jane was more forgiving that say, Harry's mother ever was. Happy to see that Harry did the right thing. I'm a bad person, so I would 'accidentally' let loose a few bludgers that headed over to the stands. Just sayin'. And if McGonagall is going to hand Umbridge her head by being 'inspected', just imagine Snape. I should think Minerva would give Severus the all-clear to 'adjust' the staff room teapot and then have everyone leave it alone (or have some only after having the antidote on hand). |
excessivelyperky chapter 20 . 4/14 Very good chapter-yes, it's good for Umbridge to get yanked before she starts torturing students rather than till she already has. And Harry should talk to someone in Ravenclaw about Luna's shoes being stolen-her having to walk barefoot could end with her getting tetanus. |
excessivelyperky chapter 19 . 4/6 Very good chapter! Ron feels Harry slipping away, between all the extra homework, being a ward of Snape, and now palling around with a Slytherin. Quidditch season can't come quickly enough; after all, Hermione doesn't play and there won't be any Slytherins. But I expect Harry feels like he's being divided up among all the factions. And yeah, Snape is pretty sure Umbridge has a blood quill. |
Guest chapter 27 . 3/27 I'm sad it is unfinished. This is a really great story. I especially like the buddy system. It's an original idea and doesn't make the slytherin friendships seem so forced. |
excessivelyperky chapter 18 . 3/18 This is a much more sensible Harry here, and I am glad to see it. I'm sure we'll see more of that quill later on. |
excessivelyperky chapter 17 . 3/9 "Evil! Now available in pink!" Both Hermione and Ron need to sit on Harry and explain to him why he can't even look like he's backtalking (the trouble is, is that he's gotten away with it for all these years. But not even Dumbledore can get Harry out of what Umbridge will do). However, I expect Snape to find out about the Blood Quill much, much sooner. Plus, this year's DA will probably have some Slytherins in it. |
