I love the idea of Castle keeping the vest for their future child. Also, I loved his gift for the Ryan's in the episodethought it was perfect, so very Castle. I hated that his know-it-all daughter convinced him her cheap, lazy and generic gift was the better choice. Ugh! One of many things wrong with season 8. Loved this little addition to the season that shouldn't have been though!
