This was such a lovely one-shot. You know what I really connected with? That you didn't write that Draco has anxiety and then was instantly 'cured' by being around 'the right person'. His anxiety was a constant fixture in the story, and not as 'in your face'. It was subtle, in the way he spoke, in the way he moved and interacted and even thought things out.
You did a really good job. I was looking for a good story to read for about three hours, and this was the only one that held my attention past the first few paragraphs.

As an introvert with social anxiety I have to commend you for this story. I don't think I've read anything recently that pegs exactly what it's like to live in this type of head-space, as you have done in this story. Masterful job. It's hard to capture that crippling uncertainty that mixes with a desire to be helpful. Not only a desire to be helpful but also not to be a discomfort/burden to anyone. Even the subtlety of when he pauses at his aunt's bedroom door before he sees her is spot on.
As a person who lives with this every day I can truthfully say how you portray even Harry in this is amazing. This is how I would want someone to respond to me. Friendly, helpful when I need it, but not pushy. Let me be who I am and take things one step at a time so my comfort zone is pushed but not breached.

Oh my, this was adorable! You really wrote draco well, his reactions and thoughts are quite realistic when one thinks of someone who was sick a lot in their childhood and didn't really get out. I also loved how slow you moved with their relationship, since draco wouldn't be able to immediately kiss etc. Teddy is adorable and I confess, I also looove a harry in the kitchen;)

Pi guess it silly but I've come to enjoy stories were there's a physical or health problem that hRry gets to work with I. His relationship. Like one were hermione was deaf or in hermione so case one were snape couldn't speak. It makes it more interesting

Lovely, lovely story!

Very sweet. Having anxiety myself and trying my hardest to overcome much of it it's still there. Speaking to people or even looking at them in the first place is a victory for me. Some people thought I was a snob and it just wasn't true. I always thought I wasn't worthy of being spoken to or having people like me. I am fortunate my best friend helped me with much of that and she sure as hell had to work at becoming my friend. I'm surprised she didn't give up. Now my irrational fears don't usually have anything to do with people necessarily. I do have panic attacks every time I'm in a small or tight and crowded place, especially if it's hot.
