So, first things first, I wouldn’t have made it this far if I didn’t like the story. It’s very enjoyable.
But I’m starting to have some comments. Ever since Skye left Tony this story has taken a big turn. Much more relation/Steve focused. Which is fine. But I do prefer the first 40ish chapters and the plot more. The relationship itself I’m not too drawn to. We see little evidence of their attraction to each other, besides “magic sparks something just felt right”. No fluff scenes, no interactions, just moving in together, then, surprise! Banging in the bedroom. All. The. Time. There is more to relationships than sex though- it took almost 15 chapters to move from sex to “I love you”, which, while it may be the norm now in society, it certainly wasn’t for Steve’s, and Skye herself didn’t go sleeping around with everyone either. I would have pegged them both for “love before sex” type people, but that’s by the by, nbd. The only other problem I have besides the pwp is Skye is a housewife when living with Steve- it seems like she literally just sleeps all day and cooks. Has she ever had any responsibility there? She’s a badass when push comes to shove, but WHY? I can’t pinpoint many reasons why she would have the strong independent character she does, when everything has literally been handed to her in life (it just comes with being a Stark, I think- nothing commenting on your writing). She doesn’t have much of a purpose for a good amount of chapters. Just magic visions and smashing Steve.
Again, don’t get me wrong I’m interested and enjoying this well enough, but I think when this story switched to be Skye/Steve centric it lost a few of its best qualities. Or, at least, they were put on hold until this Aether deal.

The last part of the chapter gave me chills. I love it.

So sad to learn your stopping this / rewriting it since so far...the way the story is going it has been interesting. sometimes confusing but really interesting! I hope you continue this... :)

She's actually only 18 why is the timeline so different she should be like 22 or something. I was kinda hoping that Hella was her mother

This story is giving me whiplash. So Pietro is dead? That wasn't even mentioned? When are Skye and Steve not having problems? It seems like every other chapter and it's getting old. Will they won't they. They're all like a bunch of extra hormonal teenagers. She never even mentioned to Thor that Loki might be alive. I know it's following the movies but it still feels like there is so much on Skye's end that we have to either assume or is ignored completely and things don't add up. Sorry. I tried. Maybe try to be more consistent?

But I thought she already saw her mom? That's where she had heard the name Freya before?

I hope to read the rewrite soon.
