To the guy below me, f**k you. I was almost finished with rvb. Anyway, I didn't mind Pyrah dying at all. To be honest, I'd take that over the endings you represted. The shows dark turn made things better in my opinion...depsite vol 4. And you could also classify Ruby not reaction fast enough to process the situation.

From now on I'll link this fic to anyone who doesn't have a problem with Pyrrha's death. Which should be no one. Sadly, despite killing Tex off in a well executed manner in RvB, Pyrrha's was horribly written, like an amateur job.

So I noticed this was uploaded a while ago, never really thought anything of it and moved on. Now that I've read it I don't understand your last point about plot holes. Though that's probably because I have a team of seven people I work with, and my own brain instantly fills plot holes with story/character-limitation cement.

That, and I may have laughed a tiny little bit when Pyrrha died. Ahhh, who am I kidding, that wasn't a tiny amount of laughing.

Gotta Agree with you. I have no problem with Pyrrha dying. I get what they were going for. Penny's death shows that the innocent are always the first to suffer. Roman's death was... Well, I'm sure it meant something. And Pyrrha's death was probably supposed to show that even the strong can be defeated and be taken from us. I would have had no problem with her death if the scene was airtight. Example: if it still happened despite intervention of, say, Team CFVY, Ruby, and Weiss, and if Amber HAD displayed teleportation powers.
Or if, Cinder had gone out of her way to isolate Pyrrha rather than the latter being stupid enough to try to face her alone, and then had someone record the whole thing for everyone to see and that would allow Ruby's super!eyes to be activated.

Point is, you make a great point.

Weiss and ruby didn't know about cinder or the madiens and Weiss didn't let ruby go to the top by herself. She knew Pyrrha was up there the only plot hole are one you have created because you don't want to accept what has happened

I've been mourning Pyrrha for a while now and this fic just cheered me up!
