This is both serious and entertaining. Geography, wrong angles, geometry... Had me grinning like an idiot. And idealised realism worked for Tolkien, so why not? Works great here.

Very nice. It does make perfect sense that not only Eowyn, but Faramir as well, would be virgins, given Tolkien's religious background. I very much like Hilde's approach - such a sensible and practical woman. Too bad the Gondorians ladies weren't like her. Which makes me wonder who on earth first came up with the fanon notion that Gondorians were such prudes and made things seem horrible when it came to educating brides-to-be on matters of the marriage bed. I guess we'll never know...
