Well I thought I would give this a shot. After all, there is a serious lack of Harry Potter/Doctor Who fanfics featuring the 13th Doctor and I was really hoping for a hit that satisfied both fandoms. However, like the others who have reviewed I argue that to say the 13th Doctor is in this is absolutely a lie. That only works if you count the War Doctor. Perhaps a change to reflect that it is actually the canon 12th Doctor who features heavily along with Clara.

I would say, like others have, that Gryffindor is overdone. after all, it really truly is, and anyone would see that while The 12th Doctor and Clara do try to do what is right, they do bring out some of the best and arguably the worst qualities in each other and that is precisely why the "woman in the shop" gave Clara the number that would put Clara in touch with the Doctor. I find it difficult to believe they would end up in Gryffindor without some very heavy arguing with the hat to rival that of Harry and Hermione. Especially so when you have Clara stating her name is Clara Oswin Oswald... with that in mind she'd be a good shoo-in for Ravenclaw if not Slytherin. The same goes for The Doctor.

I do feel that things do seem kind of rushed, but I can almost forgive that. The Doctor and Clara are both rather quick-minded.

All that having been said, I do think it is a bit humorous that you've thrown them into 1st year with The Chamber of Secrets mess looming and that neither The Doctor, nor Clara remember who they really are, despite the occassional sense of their real identities, is facinating. That combined with the fact that I have yet to notice any obvious spelling or extreme grammar errors (apart from those typically made to elicit a sense of how a person's accent sounds for those who are not familiar with various accents, and even those seem mostly absent from your work) I am going to continue reading at least until I get to a point that something is TOO forced... A lot of crossovers do that, especially when they insert the characters into a canon plot butthat too is something that can be hit and miss. I will try to read onward.

I do strongly suggest changing your summary and character information for the fic to reflect that in all actuality, that the canonically accepted 12th Doctor (as portrayed by Peter Capaldi) is the one who has been deaged along with Clara Oswald and plopped directly into J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Only on the second doctor, but i wanted to point out that the thirteenth doctor is female. This is male, please change the tags from the thirteenth doctor, as you're sending mixed messages. Normally I would read this, but as I've been looking for stories on the actual thirteenth doctor, i find myself disappointing and likely will have to put this story down for a while before i can pick it up again. I don't mean to be rude, its just that this is extremely annoying for all of those looking for actual thirteenth doctor fan fiction and is likely to scare away more readers than you'll attract

Why do I keep finding crossovers like this? When I read a crossover I expect to read both sides interacting with each other, not having 98% of one canon while there's only 2% of the other canon. You could LITERALLY replace John and Clara with any other character and NOTHING would change.

Gryffindor is so overdone. You know Clara, egomaniac needy game player. At the very least, she should have been in slytherin, but even better, i'd pay money for a fic where the doctor was one.

This is probably the most underrated fic I've ever seen... it's not perfect but honestly the plot is very good and it deserves way more recognition than it currently has.

Yeah, your updates are so regular! You are way more organised than me.

I don't write reviews very often, but for this story I absolutely had to, because this deserves way more recognition than it's getting. I have no idea why there aren't more people reading this, because I personally can't wait for the next chapter.
I'd also like to say that the update speed is absolutely amazing.

I'm glad you've got eleven follows, but you should have waaaay more! This is a really interesting story, you have got all the characters nailed and the plot is great. I love the child doctor. Keep going! (I'm dying to know how the Doctor and Clara forgot everything)
