Loved this. I may have already read and reviewed, but it's so good I don't mind doing it again. I really feel that the show needs to address that cruel comment that Dean made. I don't care if it's obliquely or not, but somehow they have to make that right.

I LOVED this, it really helped to fill a hole in my heart. I'm sure Dean didn't mean what he said to Sam, but I just wish they had addressed it in the show at SOME point! I feel like as the show progresses we're losing more and more broments, and I am very upset about that! I just want a little bit of Winchester mushy, is that too much to ask?!

Oh damn...break my heart, why dontcha? :( I think the only thing stopping me from full-on crying is the fact that there's someone else in the room right now :P lol There are so many different heartrending aspects to this story - Sam's guilt, Dean's guilt, Dean *needing* Sammy so badly and finally apologizing to him, all the people who have *died for them* (that part alone wrecked me). Great work! And I loved the way you ended it, too :)

Thank you so much for writing this! That remark about Charlie was one of the few things in season 10 which I always hoped would get revisited but never did. I mean I know that Dean was under the influence of the MoC but I can't imagine all the stuff he said and did to Sam didn't leave scars. Luckily you wrote this perfect little fix-it so I'm a very happy camper : )
