During the orbital bombardment, technically it shouldn’t make a sound until after the Rod from God hits. The speed of sound is greatly exceeded during the bombardment, so you would probably only hear the explosion, and then MAYBE the whistle if your ears recover from the last explosion quick enough.

I want to see slice of life of this, or hell another UNSC ship having her own adventure against the abyssals. Great show!

Normally, I don't really like authors inserting songs into fics, but I think that the way you did it was great. It fit with the text style, and it was a nice touch that she turned back to Earth as she sang the last line. It's a minor thing, but I thought it deserved some praise, seeing as many authors fall flat doing the same thing.

While she wouldn't be happy about it, I can't see Harvest being dissatisfied with such an end.

I'm a bit puzzled how the Covenant managed to follow her, but I find it amusing that they don't seem to realize they are at Earth.

Four destroyers? MOI could just sit on them.
So the Covenant War was them trying to find Misriah Armory? That...makes as much sense as canon.
