Interesting take, I feel like I’ve tried to read it before when I haven’t read Worm yet and was on a Kingdom Hearts kick. I hope you come back to it. The scene changes were a little jarring, probably would have flowed better visually. The background on the Espers seems more pure Final Fantasy than Kingdom Hearts to me but I’ve hardly played Final Fantasy. The slang a few times came off more British than American. I feel like I’m forgetting something else I wanted to say...

Yeesh, this chapter was horrend- er, it could be better. Specifically the bit with Circus. The weird dialogue, unflattering teenage ineptitude, their faulty reasoning, the questionable premise, the laughable 'fighting', and the WTF conclusion...

Needs a major rework because it doesn't seem to belong in the same story. A bit amateurish compared to your other stuff.

I'm just going to assume that it's Taylor that doesn't know that 'information gathering ability' is the literal definition of a Thinker power.

Trying to make Sophia sympathetic is a waste of time.

In canon she was a violent psychopath that the audience was lead to hate on a personal level. In this story you reinforced that animosity before trying to mix her backstory with Aisha's to make us pity her.

Honestly that kind of move will usually just annoy the reader though. At best we'll feel contempt. At worst we'll resent the author for a ham fisted attempt at manipulation.

So much bs going on in this chap I started rooting for Lung and Oni Lee.
