I honestly love this story, am worried with the condition of Ruby, Weiss and Blake. Where the hell are they?

Though she's going to be fucked up after the fall of beacon, bet he'd be pissed finding out her silver-eyes were activated. Not at her, obviously.

Eeeeekkk, I have a bad feeling and have no clue to what these chapters are building up to.

But eh, that is the mark of a good storyteller, is it not?

This was a very powerful and emotionally charged chapter, kudos on that front the way you conveyed her grief and exhaustion and pain through both emotional descriptions, as well as her body language, surrounding, ETC, while also still having her move, act and comment felt incredibly realistic and well done.

Feel a bit unsure about Yang's childhood trip being regarded as so stupid and Qrow/Tai seemingly being set up as wise, though I may be misreading the intent, and I know Yang regards the trip as stupid, so more 'how is she being treated by the narrative' vs what she says which is why I'm unsure.

The Raven stuff is extremely interesting and given Qrow can turn into a bird but has bad luck for a Semblance, I get the feeling he may not be telling the whole truth regarding Raven. Though even if he is, great work describing the portals and the effects their background had on them, especially Raven and how it informed her unique world view.

Ghaaaaaaaaggghhhhhh what a cliffhanger! Ruby and Blake may or may not have been launched into the past and may or may not be alive (really hope they are). Anyways good writing man and this probably has to be up there as one of my favorite time travel stories along with "What a Wonderful World." since as you mentioned before there is more to this than fluffy interactions and canon fixing but an actual plot which seems to be shaping up. Really hope this is alive and you need more reviews and credit man.

This is great. Though after reading all of this I kinda feel like you should be taking a more Horror theme with it. There's just been so many moments of uncertainty and discomfort. Although it might just be that you're writing about stuff that is personally uncomfortable to me, rather then just scary. You write those scenes excellently by the way, I can feel each characters confusion, dread, apprehension etc. in the scenes. You've also managed to weave the time-travel in a believable way without just hand-waving it. You've presented just so much overwhelming evidence, not just to Qrow and Tai, but to the reader. Anyhow needless to say I really enjoyed this fic. Can't wait for an update, keep up the good work!

And with that I'm thoroughly mystified as to what the heck is going on.

I do have one slight theory about Yang's headache. In the Thrawn trilogy of Star Wars books, there are a series of clones that, if they get within a certain distance of the original, cause a headache in both the original and the clone, a sort of negative resonance. Perhaps something is resonating with canon!Yang and causing her headache? (I bring up the example because I originally thought it would be the proximity of canon!Yang and past!Yang, but I changed my mind since I started writing this.)

Enjoying this story so far. My biggest question currently is what about Yang's presence caused Qrow to be late to the abandoned cabin? Only difference (that we're aware of so far) between this and canon is older Yang being in the past, so that had to be the reason he was late.
