Hello! I want to say you that I read your story in 1month and I love it. I really like how similar the characters are to the ones on the show.

The story is very entertaining and I like how you deal with the relationships between characters like Saber Squad, Anakin and Rex, Rex and Cody and the others.

Also, this story is helping me with my english because I'm from Spain and with help from Google Translate I'm reading it.

A few questions I am curious about that you may or may not answer, by the way:

1. Even though Rex is not involved with the Siege of Mandalore, does he ever cross paths with Ahsoka again?

2. Order 66 does occur in ToN, correct? I assume that since you're no longer following the canon timeline, it will happen to the 501st in a different manner or environment than depicted in TCW or the prequels?

Fascinating chapter. Love the reappearance of Gregor. Donya's play on Rex and his straight-forward batting her away makes a great read. He behaves exactly in-character as Rex, and she comes across as a temptress out to seduce clones. Love the way you wrote it. Well done. Definitely seems she is not done trying to toy with Rex.

I like how you have woven the production of the Kyber crystals used for the Death Star in this story and Dooku’s perspective. Then you leave us on cliff hanger.

I like how you’re adding your own originals parts into this to tie in with the canon series. Especially the whole thing about the krystals and the Death Star, which I find an interesting concept.

What is your type then Cody? Would it be a certain Mirialan? Fat chance to be honest considering she’s uh...detained. Still curious as to where that pairing came from...

Very nice having three updates in short order. It will be hard to wait for the next one. I love how your story has brought up so many good thought points when it comes to the lives of clones. Now dating and harassment has us worrying for Rex in one direction while also worrying about what Dooku has planned for him in a different direction. Enjoyed all the small conversations with Anakin and Cody.

WHAT IS THE THIRD SURPRISE?! You can’t leave us hanging like that!

Love the Dooku POV. It isn’t often we get the bad guys’ side of the tale, and it adds a lot to the story. And his wondering about how he can exploit Anakin’s attachment to Rex is just gold. Of course the entire prequel era is about Palpatine exploiting Anakin’s attachments, but we rarely see it explicitly stated. And even in Clone Wars Anakin’s attachment to his soldiers is never explored as a possible weak spot.

Also, these frequent updates are awesome.

This is just gold... Oh come on, give the man a shag! I think that was a difficult part to read, Swin questioning Rex about his celebrate relationship and his very wooden response..

I would have liked to see him fling her hard up against the wall, his hands entwined in her hair as he returned her kiss with a passion he knew never existed. Then had logic deep back into his brain, and have him step back collecting himself. "I'm sorry," he staggered out embarrassed, " I, I can't". Swin reacts accordingly, slapping him hard across his cheek, angry that the one man who could match her passion, and possibly come back for seconds had knocked back her offer. it would have made for an interesting briefing the next day and brought in Maree again. The guilt he felt at betraying 'that' love, making him all the more determined to get through the War and back to her.

Christina TM again :). Forgot to say, I had to cackle at Rex’s observations about what clones get up to in the lower levels of Coruscant. Nice to see I’m not the only one who wondered about the consequences of a million plus young men with more testosterone than sense let loose on the galaxy!

Poor Rex is now suffering sexual harrassment - there is no end the lengths you'll go to torture the poor boy!

Whaaaaaat TWO new chapters since I last checked? It’s like Christmas!

Love Rex’s back and forth with Major Swin. She has no idea who she’s dealing with. But I get the feeling Rex doesn’t either...

I just love this story so much and I am VERY curious to see how it goes now that it’s diverged from canon.

So far I am really enjoying this AU. Mystery, drama, action and humour. What more could you ask for and all impeccably written.

And there’s Gregor! It’ll be interesting to see how he progresses from here considering we never heard from him after his supposed ‘sacrifice’, until he appeared again in Rebels, albeit a tad crazy in the head.

Kinda laughing how Donya has become enamoured(?) by Rex? I mean, she can try? I don’t think it’ll work considering Rex is already taken...If anything, if she continues to try and gain his attention, I feel like it’ll just do more harm for both of them. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.

I also like the route you’re going for for your take on season 7. The mix of canon, and your own original bits blend in nicely.
