As much abuse as was heaped upon Harley by Joker in the various animated series, If she had an overprotective brother, this is exactly what would have happened...

I liked it, I mean in the comics she had sister, but this was good. I liked that he killed Joker because of what he did to her.

I would pay good money to see the this character, and the Joker coming to such an end, in canon Batman media. Some people might think it anti-climatic in a way, the Joker being killed not in a confrontation with Batman but killed by someone who was previously unknown, but if the story was written right, with an increasingly emotional plot revolving around Joker, Harley, and Cole's characters, I think it would make for a great story. Not only does Cole seem like a mild-mannered badass, but Harley having a brother is a pretty cool concept itself. And it's hard to imagine anyone hating the Joker more than a theoretical brother of Harley Quinn. It would also be interesting to see what became of Harley afterwards. And Cole, since he would be forever in the public eye, or at least he would be for a good long while.

Some fanfiction writers glamorize the 'romance' between Joker and Harley, making them out to be like Bonnie and Clyde or something. That's never what the Batman writers intended to convey; whatever else they were Bonnie and Clyde were partners, Harley is a victim of the Joker, and what he did to her is truly the stuff of nightmares.

As a brother I second this guys thinking, but not his methods... I would defiantly kill the Joker if given the chance though.
