No Review just a question, are you still out There or is this Story Done ?

First I just want to say that I have been loving this story and your characterization of Jon Snow and planned to leave a review when I finished it completely but I had to comment on this chapter. It completely took me out of the story to play some coy game. I was excited to read your story and see how this information would add to Jon's story and was also excited to see your spin on it, no matter who his mother was in this AU. If it doesn't matter then you could have left it out completely. But instead this chapter is breaks the proverbial fourth wall so hard that its jarring.

Wow... this was good. Really good. You impressed me with how accurate the close combat worked.
Just a rush of blood, and violence, and exhaustion.

The last couple chapters were excellently done.

Wow... Jon seems happier in this world. I'm glad. Jon always wore a long face, and it didn't suit him well.

And this story... well there won't be any angry Catelyn Stark to kidnap Tyrion, so hopefully not the same war between Starks and Lannisters.
Likewise, no maternal muddling with betrothals and such. So hopefully no angry vengeful Freys. Also Theon is likely crippled, so maybe no betrayal there...

Here's hoping for the best! And bracing for the worst.

I hate that I’m almost relieved that this story is apparently abandoned. Only almost because goddamn did I love the first 33 chapters... but now? You’ve introduced the gods as apparently major players in the story, you’ve turned Bran into the most convenient plot device ever to be used whenever you wish (simultaneously turning Jon into little more than a puppet on strings when the man isn’t even allowed to have a goddamn conversation)... even with Dorne getting involved in the story once more I’m loathe to see this tale fall any further...
No, strike that. I do want to see this continue. Even with the bizarre and asinine changes in direction, I still like this story. I like Jon and his priorities, I’ve liked 95% of the combat and battle sequences, and I like how different the battle lines are from canon whilst still maintaining the odd similarity. You just need to return to what made this story good. Take a step back from Jon being an agent of the gods, leave that to Bran. Take a step back from manifest destiny and dreamy visions. Let Jon back into the world as the Bloody Wolf. Let him be the ruthless, bad-ass force of nature that gives politics the middle finger and would set the world on fire if it means keeping his family safe. That simple premise is what this story is. These new elements you seem to be introducing only distract from that. They don’t have to, but in their current state they are.

A hearing to explain his actions to uneducated masses... what? You actually had him explain his dreams? Why would he ever do that? Are they trying to inspire a new wave of religious zealotry? The things you’ve done with this tale belay all sense I swear.
