Aww. I'm glad Lucy and Allegra get like two seconds of human contact before everything presumably goes wrong. I'm assuming this is going to have a happy ending though right? Right?
Also I love the phrase 'eco-stellar crisis'. Just works so perfectly with stardust spirits etc. Also yay for this update! I was just thinking about you and this story a couple of weeks ago. I like the point of view changes (especially Xanthe's point of view, and Allegra's). And the lore about Stardust orbs is really interesting. It adds to the canon thing of how stealing stardust corrupts dark spirits, and it makes sense that the orb sort of forces them to steal Stardust as well.
Oh and Miss Graves having a heart attack made me sad.
And finally I'm excited to see where this goes! I love that both sides are sort of forcing the girls back into each others lives, but for super different reasons.

Oooh, the plot thickens! Yeah, I feel the pain of procrastination. You have an interesting take on the dust orbs, and I see what you mean with the whole 'Mother Knows Best' thing :). Slight brainwashing there, Maggie. Excited for more of this story! :)

I recently found this story and I can't get enough of it! The world needs more stardust fanfics in my opinion. There is one question I would love to see addressed in this fanfic. What do dark spirits do with their power? We never see them robbing banks or plotting world domination, dark spirits seem to only steal stardust for fights with 10 year olds (fights that they wouldn't need to fight if they weren't dark spirits).
Anyway, this story is great and I hope it continues.

Ahhh this fic is so good! I especially love the idea of flashbacks and I'm intrigued by what it was that actually set Lucy down the path to darkness. I'm so interesed to see where this story goes and I really like the concept.

Yay! A new chapter! And this one is just as good as the others. I love the way you describe how Lucy's actions are affecting the other characters, and your 'stardust theory' sounds 'legit'. And you reference the books really well.

Hey cool an update :). Loved the point of view change in this one, and the intrigue over how the prophecy will play out :). Only thing, is, there seems to be a slight formatting issue on this chapter... a bunch of computer gobbldeygook is everywhere; you might want to fix it.

I liked your interpretaion of Allegra, and the evidence of Maggie's manipulations finally coming to fruition.

Wow, I think this chapter is even better than the first two! (which is impressive considering how good the first two were) I love the way the actions of the younger spirits are so reminiscent of the books, and also your description of how Allegra has changed - I think that is especially effective.
