This was a delight, Joan. Compartmentalizing into the “strangers game” is totally something Beckett would do. I liked the line where she refers to herself as a junkie needing to get her fix. And how Castle, while starting it to have fun, of course, falls for her and then continued to pretend because he didn’t want to lose her. Having it all come to a head with “Tick, Tick, Tick” and “Boom” was on the money. Thanks for writing and sharing.

I have read this before but this last time was so much more meaningful. Make everyday count..my husband died very unexpectedly. I did not even have a minute to say goodbye. Never thought he would leave me like that.i really like the themes of making every minute count. I think you have a tremendous skill at this writing this.
