MissScorp chapter 1 . 10/13/2019 Hi there! I like how this shows that the protégés are not perfect. They’re fallible. They make mistakes. Those mistakes come with consequences. Here, the biggest ones are that Wally has a broken foot, Ivy has captured them, and Robin has been poisoned. Of course, the cure is also something that Ivy wants. You’d think that someone who can control plants would just make the plant she needs but what’s the fun in that? More fun to send three heroes out into the wild and watch them deal with natives, big ass bugs, deadly predators and everything else the rainforest can throw at them. I love the variances in personalities here. Robin is cool, calm, completely in control despite the precariousness of the situation. Conner is a volcano about to explode. And Wally? Well, he’s a hormonal teen in the presence of a goddess lol They’re individuals. They have their own strengths and skills. Their own personalities. It makes them a great team. They compliment each other for that reason. However, it also got them in this situation. Be interesting to see how they get themselves out and deal with Ivy. Excellent beginning! |
CMC chapter 8 . 4/29/2019 Aww, that ending was perfect! This story was really wonderful, and it is another perfect example of your spectacular creativity and beautiful writing style. I really appreciate your attention to detail and the amount of research you put into your work (I may have to find a copy of the book you mentioned...). Thank you for all of the knowledge you shared in this story (and for explaining when something wasn't quite accurate). Your medical knowledge is simply fascinating! Thank you again for another spectacular story, I look forward to reading more of your work. You are amazing~ |
Rehabilitated Sith chapter 1 . 1/18/2019 Should I be concerned you bought a book on poisons? ;-P |
Guest chapter 4 . 1/12/2019 At the end of this chapter, you stated that the Black Caiman is the largest of the crocodile species. That is incorrect. The black caiman is not the largest of the crocodile species, it is the largest species in the family Alligatoridae. The largest of the crocodilian species in existence today is the Australian Saltwater Crocodile. That aside, I do like the story so far. |
rgjflood chapter 8 . 7/28/2018 this is amazing. the brother dynamic, the adventure, its so nice to see conner in this |
hodges2 chapter 8 . 6/15/2018 Aaaah the feels! |
hodges2 chapter 3 . 6/15/2018 I really like Connors sense of limits? How hes coming to understand his teammates limits more, idk I think its interesting. I wonder if there are other fanfiction that deal with that |
Aravax chapter 8 . 4/6/2018 Great story. I would have loved to see the dynamic duo’s reunion but I guess that’s in heaps of stories! |
Bogorm123 chapter 8 . 3/31/2018 THIS WAS FANTASTIC! Great writing, super interesting plot and just an overall awesome story! I am super impressed by this! |
Mischief Tea chapter 8 . 7/17/2017 1. "Only Batman could get away with asking the fastest man alive that question." omg 2. I like this village and its people. Creating it from an amalgamation of multiple cultures seems very fitting to the DC universe. :D And I love how the superpowers are entirely misconstrued as divine favor. (Although that may not be entirely baseless... that's a matter of opinion, of course) 3. And all this time Batman actually WAS coming! Excuse me for a moment. I will be sobbing in the bathroom if you need me. 4. "his son" THE SHOCK AND AWE FACTOR HERE IS HILARIOUS 5. To backtrack a little bit... I couldn't help but laugh (if painfully) at the sheer absurdity of the situation. Good grief what a humiliating experience. But, really, it is a legitimate medical procedure which, crudely performed or not, has been a practical means of treatment contributing to the saving of lives for thousands of years. 6. We shall never speak of this again. |
Mischief Tea chapter 7 . 7/17/2017 Well that went better than expected... But poor Dick... ;_; I'm a total wreck. Thank God this story is only 8 chapters long. I don't think I could take much more of this. (Nor could they, clearly.) |
Mischief Tea chapter 6 . 7/17/2017 1. Bleeeuuurgh. Crocodiles. Disease. Mosquitoes. Have I mentioned that I hate the jungle? No? I hate the jungle. 2. "ti... me... slo... ow... ed... do...ow... n..." 3. The natives are restless? *shrug* |
Mischief Tea chapter 5 . 7/17/2017 Why did I think that reading this was a good idea?! Why is my face grinning when my heart is screaming? Am I crying? Do I even know what's happening anymore?! Thinking: Eh, what are the chances that the inhibitor collar isn't keyed to stop the speed of Kryptonian healing? I mean... Wally has been healing just fine... One minute later: Oh well I guess that answers that. XD Keeping the tooth, though? I thought it was Wally's job to collect souvenirs! I'm laughing but I'm also slightly hysterical so... |
Mischief Tea chapter 4 . 7/17/2017 1. HOLY SHIT. Okay I have heard of people doing things like this but... . urk. Why didn't it occur to me until now that it's quite likely that the dosage Robin received was made for an adult? Shit. He might very well have less time than first estimated. 2. WHAT IS IT WITH YOU AND BIG CAT ATTACKS?! *fright tears* And it's only worse because he left himself wide open to it aaarrrrrrrgh Nonononononononono |
Mischief Tea chapter 3 . 7/17/2017 This is really scary. I remember having some serious heart problems in the past that were audible like that and... *shudders* Nope. Definitely not gonna think too hard about that. "Normally, the younger boy could have scaled this with his eyes closed while walking backwards in a handstand." I just really liked this sentence and the mental image it conjured up. :) (Gonna guess that the favorite scene had something to do with Robin's secrets. ;-; I have a lot of feels about this.) |
