Amazing sequel! Their feelings before and after their lovemaking were wonderful and what he said about the ring was so nice. I see that Miranda covered Sofia. I like that you chose to write the reaction of the family in a good and accepting way. I agree with you, although I like the angst fics too, it was nice to see a different approach. Amber was awesome and Rolland's speech was touching.

Oh god, where do I begin? This story is so beautiful, and tender and sexy, and adorable. And just oh so full of love. So much love, all kinds. It plays out like a fairy tale and you know what, thank you for that! I love a good angst here and there, but this is Disney and we're allowed to just have ridiculous happiness with no strings attached. Loved the Aladdin, Flynn and Kristoff shout-outs. Brava! All the cookies and all the love!

Hmm. Though a (reluctant) fan of the show (sisters)and not a particular fan of the Cedric/Sofia ship, I have to say...
With this, I am impressed. The amount of love in the...well, love-scene that you managed to convey, not to mention everywhere else in the story, was marvelous. This was obviously a tribute to something in this ship that attracts people who love it, like you. And while I personally may not subscribe to C/S, I do respect it for your story. Well done.

I liked this version of Cedric and Sofia's happily ever after. To be honest doing the whole "they can't be together because of their positions in life" is a bit of a stretch. One I enjoy tackling, but still a stretch given the Disney canon. More princess and princes have married non-royalty than not. I believe Sofia's parents would consent to her wishes to marry for love.

It just goes to show that you don't need to detail every motion and moment of a love scene to make it powerful. Your mastery of language made the details of their lovemaking so vivid and lovely. Their love for one another is palpable.
