Chapters 23 were mainly recaps of the book. you could have summed all that up since most of your readers would have read the book. Nice writing otherwise.

Aside from some very minor details, you just ended up with the original story. So what was the point of the fanfic?

Ok, this is quite clever, almost Hermione clever. The idea of a puzzle as an application is indeed fitting, now can you finish it? Seems the jury may still be out on that.

Did you mean for Hermione's letter to imply that Harry is too utterly stupid to know that he homework over the summer? Why is he friends with someone who thinks he so stupid that he complete his homework on his own even though he finished second in Gryffindor for first years. To quote Ron, "She's a nightmare." Why would Harry want to be friends with her?
