This is a great story; well paced, well written, and you even managed to make it canon(ish). This is honestly one of the best fanfiction I've read; and that's no small feat. Well done.

Love this. And I love how you tied it into his stone mask, the axe, and the mountain from his Spirit Quest. Poor Donnie. He's so brilliant and so stifled. It makes me wonder how many other brilliant minds are stunted by circumstance...never getting the chance to meet their true potential. Great job!
