hey i haven t read your story yet but to agree to your a/n,like wtf was wrong with man of action when they did that. Almost no one was up for that bs,people even wrote letters stating they will force quit the show but looks like CN didn't care,like at all.
i am a die hard fan of this sereis scince it 1st aired, classic was good, alien force improved on that its character seemed more mature (you know sense of responsibility which comes with ageing of characters and their experience) by the end of it and enter ultimate alien it was great too. Ben looked more mature at the end of it all (at the end of digon fight, also remeber julie was the one to calm him down ,testement of relationships and all we all understand that)
Then came omniverse, like it was sooooo bad,so many things done wrong; disrecarded character growth;absolute bull art style (belive me i tried to ignore it and was succesfull to an extent, then came the breakup didn't even let the crappy like absolute crap opnieng start , threw the tv remote at the wall and switched it off) made ben a fucking idiot, it was like 10 scrach that 8 yrs old ben got transpoted to a bigger body.
In my opnion desrved the force quit at i gave it that moment never looked back. Now 5 yrs after what do i find it on rewatching it (one my buddy forced me to watch it, this A-hole, malware was ok though) absolute dog crap piled on my gucci terrible experience never gonna watch it even ruined the felling of rewatching aforce and ualien for me .

Well, to be honest, I was 50/50 on Ben and Julie for some time, a few years actually.
But I have to admit, you make a valid point.
Honestly, she's better for him than that Kai Green! Ick! I just don't like her at all. At least Julie was tolerable enough.
Case in point, I liked reading this. Keep up the good work! :)

I'm glad to know there's someone else other than myself who still cares about this couple. :-) I really hope Julie comes back in the reboot.

Actually, the "how" ben bkreak up with her is quite good, its funny and something that ben would do, now, the fact that julie took it that way, is also pretty believable, in a she is soo female kind of way, but i dont argue the fact that omniverse was complete BS, now, i will read you chapter, and hope for 2 things, that it will be good, second, that you dont abandon the project cause you are an ass(my wayh of calling all those people who drop the ff with no headsup whatsoever).

You did very good on this story, and I agree with you about the Omniverse. They did make Gwen seem more like a school girl than a capable fighter. I honestly think the first season episodes that were released were good and then the episodes on the 2-Disc DVD "Aliens At War" was good, but then the show just kind of flopped and had mostly awful episodes with only a few good ones, like the "Duel Of The Duplicates" 3 part episode and the "Galactic Monsters" 3 part episode. (Well, actually, I didn't really care for "Charmed, I'm Sure". "The Vampire Strikes Back" was probably the only one that was the best of the Galactic Monsters). And then the last few seasons were really not interesting and it seemed like they kept bringing back villains that had already had so much screen time that it was enough to make me say 'bring in someone else'. And the "Cat Fight" episode where three girls want Ben? That was overkill.

The only two episodes I did like in the later seasons were the ones where it shows a flashback into Ben's and Gwen's past when Zs'Skayr tried to possess all of Bellwood and block out the sun; and the episode where Rook has to recruit prisoners to help him fight the villain that invaded Plumber HQ and as a result, Rook gets promoted to Magister.

Now they're doing a reboot of the original series and I'm only hoping it will be pay homage to the first Original series, but go in a different direction so it doesn't feel like a remake. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Okay, enough of my ranting. This was an excellent story you did! Great job! :)
