You can actually see the personality of the sisters, Kara is cute and dorky-adorable, and Alex is playful and instantly protective of her little sister. oh wow. this is the cutest, most adorable story. i really hope you would someday add more to this. i keep thinking at how hard those first weeks or months even must have been for little kara. i always think, specifically on the sounds. i like to think alex heartbeats (like in your story) and her voice (i imagine her reading to kara, so she just focuses on her voice) would eventual help. the strength too. and how about interacting with other humans (outside alex, eliza and jeremiah). poor baby, it must have been so terrifying, on top of losing your parents and family and friends and your whole world.

i loved this story. i seriously hope you find inspiration to keep writing adorable alex and kara adorableness. thank you for writing and sharing it with us :)
