I love this! It's beautiful, hopeful, and well-written, with plenty of heartwarming and bittersweet moments. I really enjoyed reading it. Your portrayals of the characters are perfect, completely true to the way they are in the films.

Something that really stood out for me was your portrayal of Luke and Rey's relationship. I thought it was beautiful how deeply Luke cares about Rey. You showed that really well, especially in the flashback to their training session. It's evident that he wants her to reach her full potential, but he is also respectful of her boundaries, understanding of her struggles, and protective of her well-being. And all of that paints Luke as a really good mentor.

Another thing that really stood out for me was the conversation between Luke and Leia. It was very natural and perfectly in character. I could hear it in the character's voices as I read it.

This was fantastic. I came for the Rey/Finn interaction but the conversation between Leia and Luke ended up being my favorite part. Excellent job with the characterizations. The comparisons were also some food for thought. I've never considered how alike Finn and Luke are. Thank you for sharing!
