Just found this story and omg Kara is far too forgiving & understanding (both in the show and in most fanfics). Sometimes I just want her to be angry and pissed off.

OMG did you watch the latest ep? You know I thought it would be not as interesting as the others from the promo cos I've seen a voyage ep ( Star Trek) with one of these dream sequences and it was quite boring. But this ep was just superb cos I love how in Supergirl it's not just one story and that Kara had time for an epic fight with Non as well after she got up from the parasite. Most of all I absolutely adored how far Alex was willing to go to bring Kara back and having Win. And James at the DEO. However I nearly fell off my chair in shock when Astra died cos I didn't expect that at all. Also by Hank taking the fall for Alex they are obviously setting up for some tension between Alex and Kara when Kara eventually finds out. I loved the end scene in the ep altho a small part of me wished that Kara would hav just said thank you to Alex after her aunt told her that it was Alex who brought her back.

Anyway absolutely loved reading your story and hope to see more work from you you come across any other nice Kara Alex fics or Alex Hank ones, pls do rec them to me.

Hilarious when Kara told Alex that her mother is literally walking through the door that very moment! Omg I would freak out at a surprise visit too even if it was my mum!
However the subsequent conversation between Alex and her mum was great, with Eliza saying how Alex withdrew whenever she had been hurt by something and that it was really brave for her to go back to the DEO after resigning.

Also good that Alex and Eliza finally got Kara to open up and finally face whatever was going through her mind in That awful time.
Kara running into James and Lucy. I do like James as a love interest for Kara but I also like Licy so I would hav actually preferred if Kara dated Adam.
