Just binged this story and I must say it was a very good read. The many different Ruby's in this story would make excellent spin offs. Looking forward to see a bit of Sister's world and the group dynamics in it.

With all the new volumes coming out, it makes me wonder how Vol 6 Ruby would interact with all these doppelgangers. With all her knowledge of the origins of Remnant, she can definitely blow some minds. I love stories where alternate Ruby's meet each other. Makes me think what would have happened if instead of all these Rubys being transported to an alternate vol 3 world, they got transported to the canon RWBY world post volume 3.

I wonder how a different "From the future" Ruby would interact with Crimson. I can imagine a scenario where a bunch of different post-apocalypse Ruby's just duke it out it in one giant brawl or even a tournament at Beacon and just destroy the place. Or perhaps just have a drinking contest.

Sorry for all the musing, but this story and stories of this type always get me thinking.

Rosey being sent back broke my heart. Here's hoping she is able to make a difference back in her own world. This story, while bittersweet was one of the best I've read in a long time. Hope you get the last few one shots done soon. Kudos to you!

If you're going to write in script format, at least use proper stage cues like [Exeunt Beowulves] or something like the following example:

Myrtenaster: [Chokes on her own spit] "I most CERTAINLY did NOT!"

That way it can be funny.

From what I can gather from the nonexistent descriptions, they killed all the Beowulves (is "Beowulves" supposed to be spelled with a U in this universe? In the show's subtitles it was a pun on "wolves" and the classical tale "Beowulf", so it was spelled "Beowolves") while Cress was in the process going over her epic clash against the magic plant monsters. It couldn't have taken them very long to kill "like...a million of them." Maybe Myrtenaster was using hyperbole.

Just want to say, only at chapter 4 but I'm totally rapt! It's like Pocket Mortys with extra steps!

And then Weiss died, and everyone else lived despairingly ever after.

Wait, what kind of Faunus was Weiss? I know she probably looks exactly like Weiss from the show except for shabbier clothes and one animal trait, but there was no description given beyond the words "Weiss" and "Ruby". Also, I got thrown off by the use of "Ruby" instead of "Rosey".

My thoughts, no particular order:

The Flash? Could've also been Thor.

I kind of expected RJ to mention her stint in a giant mecha. With XBox controls! I bet Taylor would've loved that aspect among the stories RJ told her.

Canon!Ruby pre-character development was pretty much glued to Yang, so no worries about RJ being out of focus in her own diary.

So Taylor was RJVerse!Penny? Makes sense. Hopefully she ended up staying friends with Merc-Yuri (I just figured out that pun!), who at least seems to not be an evil troll in "our" universe.

There are many ways to be a Supermom. I like to think raising four autistic kids makes my own mom count.

I'm pretty sure Deadpool himself was referencing some kind of fictional samurai in his not-Death Battle against Pinkie Pie. Deadpool doesn't write his own memes, he hijacks them from real content creators at gunpoint.

Too bad Rosey couldn't stay. The mother-daughter relationship was something I kinda wanted to see develop well, such are the fickle bonds of dimensional travel.
