This was less a story and more something just as good...an analysis of characters. I found myself very fond of this piece, because just reading it i can see that the characters of Digimon are something you understand.

If it is a story, it's a story of life. What in life is more beautiful than simplicity?

Ah, I'm dying! This was the first one of my presents that I got to see, and it was such a fantastic surprise to see you had written me (some) kind of Yamichi. I kind of hate you for using the more masculine version of my name, but I forgive you because ... because Yamichi! Now, on to the story.

I loved the sweet drabble, moreso because it felt like a whole lot of Taito mixed in with a little Yamichi and a bunchload of Mimi. Perfect amount of sweetness, and a bitter edge to it too, that I can't stop mentioning. The whole thing was very well constructed, and made my heart shrink up a little bit because Mimi feels it's all very clichéd. I do love me a little angst, although with these three, I usually go for the polyamorous approach. Lovely, and it made me giddy to read.
