The story is excellent! Spelling and grammar definitely need work, but all the problems could be easily fixed by copying the story into Microsoft Word or a similar program and using the grammar and spell check. Other than that, kudos! I look forward to further chapters.

I don't want to sound mean, but you've totally messed up this chapter. You screwed up Picard and Troi's character (i.e. they're not that dim-witted). Also, the Federation always double checks the validity of ambassadors claiming to be from a certain planet, so what you described here with Akela making up a fake solar system, and automatically being accepted on the Enterprise is absolutely ridiculous.

I hope you're not angry from what I've said. I just can't stand it when authors make serious errors like that.

This is kind of a cool idea. I like the vampire bit, very nice. The only thing I might say to you that's negative is that you misspelled a couple of things. And that can be fixed with a run through Spellcheck. Way to go!
