Oh my gosh, what a great one-shot! I loved it so much. Nicely written, and all the characters were spot-on. I love the end, too. I've always thought David was a little wishy-washy on how he felt about Killian, but I know he's got real yen to prove he's a good dad, and he missed out on the teenage years and is trying to make up for it in a huge way. I also found it somewhat telling that David punched Killian and repeatedly threatened him regarding his interest in Emma, but he never confronted Neal-who knocked his baby girl up and sent her to prison. You'd think-father being the Dark One or not-that David would have had something to say about that. But no, he saw Killian as the real threat from the get-go.

Anyway, love it! Well done!

I love this! I'd love to see your take on how Emma and Killian react to seeing each other again... more like for the first time (again) in the underworld.
