I like the idea that Megumi will want children, since in her time she could be considered an old maid, and however independent she was, i can imagine her feeling lonely and wanting a family ofher own. Overall, it's short, sweet and satisfactory!

You certainly do Megumi justice! I sometimes find her abrasive (in a non-pleasant way), yet you write her in a way that is both true to character as well as sympathetic and enjoyable!

Tugging on the ole heartstrings again. That part when Kenshin told Kaoru goodbye before Kyoto almost killed me, so to have Sano echo that here was a really nice, if emotional, parallel. I'd love to read more on this one!

Okay, this chapter almost brought me to tears. So poignant, so sweet, and still so very Fox and Rooster. I love this post-Jinchuu snapshot of their life together. Just lovely.

Aw, I really like this one. I really enjoy that he's such a softie with her, I like the peak at Kenji, and I enjoy the solace Megumi finds in her friends.

Nice update! Was getting hungry with the food descriptions! But on a more serious note, feel bad for Megumi here. She obviously wants a kid with Sano but it's not...um... working out yet. But I'm sure eventually everything will be fine. I think you're doing a splendid job with Megumi's character. It's insightful to read her thoughts and feelings.

Oh, this chapter is GOOD! Not that the others weren't, but I've never shipped Sano and Megumi, but you might make me a convert. Very nice!

My favorite part is when Megumi's eye twitches as she's holding the medicine case; poor Sano, he just doesn't when to quit sometimes. :)

Wow, thanks for the mention, and the beautiful story. I love Sano so much, I can't believe I didn't process that he could be in danger after being around Sayo, especially exposed to her blood. Such a great touch for this chapter that you have Megumi aware of that possibility and anxious about Sano. And I like the way she stayed with him, and that she knew he wasn't getting fresh with her.
