I'm gonna be completely honest, this beats all the other Star Wars related stories out there, hands down. Absolutely perfect!

I loved this more and more with every paragraph. It's perfection. The way you portray everything is so great - a believably good-but-struggling ghost Anakin, childish misguided confused Ben, straightforwardly good Rey-of-light whose origins you have left open and unimportant because she is important for herself, and not every strong Force-sensitive is the descendant of well-known Jedi, thank you...

And the mantra that "I'm a person and my name is Anakin" was brilliant, and of course he'd lose control when they realize that Snoke was whispering to Ben - Palpatine did something similar to Anakin, after all, except face-to-face and without claiming to be his family, but still, shaping their minds from childhood, ugh... and then Rey steps in and drives the darkness back and.. I'm babbling but this was awesome. Very well-crafted, fits my interpretation perfectly - it's gr9.

now I really want this to have more chapters! grandpa Ani needs to let his family know what's up

After seeing "The Force Awakens", I commented to my mom that it had everything one wanted in a Star Wars movie, except the Force. By which I meant that, though it talked about the Force a good deal, it lacked that vivid sense of a numinous power immanent in the cosmos that made the original trilogy such a deathless classic.

Had it gone this way, I don't think I'd have said that.
