That was just some wonderful dialogue between the two of them. You really bounced around from topic to topic and I loved how they just laughed and kissed and cuddled through it. Most importantly it was great that Sarah got to apologize and get it off her chest Chuck showed Sarah just how important she was to him. Thanks so much for this.

You know why you’re the best? This is cannon. It is. I decree it. It was in my head from the first day I read it. The little moments like this that they missed because they were scared not to admit their mistakes (the writers and Chuck and Sarah) it makes them more human. More relatable. More perfect. Two imperfect people becoming the perfect couple. Thank you for this gift of joy. And I’ll be humming Marvin Gaye the rest of the night.

Nicely written and thanks for taking the time to try to make amends for what basically was one of many monumental screw ups by the writers, I'm not gonna rant, a little maybe, you are trying to appease fans and thats good of you, personally speaking out of all the shows I watch most have great or good seasons, Chuck season three, the misery arc including Subway has to be hands down the worst series I have ever watched, if I could go back in time, I would like to be the boss of WB and fire the asses who had anything to do with the scripts and make sure they never wrote a single word again.

A lot of season 3 was such a kick in the teeth for the fans, may be even the last few episodes of the show was almost a f*** u from JS/CF, extremely insulting, I did say it might be a little rant.

It makes me laugh, on the pre cup episode it has Lisa on the paperwork, when did she tell Chuck that in the show, duh!

I just ran across this story and I have to say it's one of the best stories I've read about the whole "Sam" thing. Great setting and I like that you didn't rush it or trivialize it. Great story.

I really enjoyed this, one-shots that add depth to canon are one of my favorite types of Chuck fics. So thanks for writing this one, really adds some closure to the whole real name debacle.

Wonderful written story but considering who wrote it that is par for the course! ;) The whole name thing was a complete flop by the writers who made a big deal out of it then suddenly it is forgotten? Personally if I would have been Chuck it would have been a much bigger deal than how they had it work out. For almost three years he desperately tried to know something real about her, only to have her give her real name to a guy she had known for a handful of months.

Why she did it is a good question and I like how you explained it here. I think she was trying to forge a connection with Shaw and break perhaps the connection she had with Chuck. I think she cared for Shaw but at no point do I think she loved him, or even close to it. He was...there. And she was hurting and confused over Chuck being a complete moron at Prague which was another idiot writer misfire.

While I will always be thankful these guys came up with this idea and these characters they had a tendency to try and stir up angst in anyway that they could. I'm all for some angst but they tend to overdue it and when they do put a zinger in there like her telling th her real name then they let it go. And don't get me started on how they finished the show. :D

Anyway as always you are one of the best FF authors I have had the pleasure of reading so thank you for taking the time to write these wonderful stories!

This is a good story, and finally gives some closure to the most disappointing part of the show, IMHO...
The whole name part is why I always considered fake Name my less favourite episode, even more than Mask, and with this, I think that I can finally get over it.
The only things that still bothers me, and probably always will, is what kind of train is that, that it took two or more days to go from Paris to Switzerland, but this I will never know... :-)

Karen, I always enjoy your writing and I certainly did here again. And I appreciate your attempting to put some sort of logical spin on this "choice" by the writers. But alas it has proven to me that if you can't get me to understand and be ok with those choices then it is simply impossible. It was a major story element that had been set up in multiple episodes, creating a great investment in the payoff of that storyline by the fans that was simply thrown away, wasted for no real consequence or reference going forward except for 1 single moment in Subway. My investment was so trivialized in such a meaningless and unimportant way that it along with the rest of the events in that episode almost drove me away from the show forever. I hated it and this episode that much. But I will always read your writing because in this instance like many others, it is far better than those that were paid to write it. And seeing how it was ignored and almost retconned out of existence later on in season 4 and 5, I think they realized it as well.
